WHAT: Township trustee meeting Monday

PRESENT: Rex Fee, Brian Bugos and Doug Emerine

Trustees:

• Approved a new three-year agreement through 2021 with Southington Township to provide emergency medical service to Southington at cost of $27,500 the first year and $30,000 the second and third years;

• Heard from Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber representatives Nick Santucci and Shea McMillan on programs the chamber can offer to work with the township in promoting economic growth ;

• Accepted a $2,248 grant from Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District for scrap tire collection;

• Announced the owners of 356 Lauder Ave. have until Jan. 10 to clean up their property or face an administrative hearing at the Trumbull County Combined Health District;

• Approved OTARMA for property and casualty insurance for one year at $26,296;

• Hired reserve firefighters / emergency medical technicians Collin Dales and Kyle Maffitt at $9 per hour for the first 90 days;

• Accepted the resignations of reserve firefighter Nathan Clyde and reserve police officer Zachary Grannelly;

•l Set their year-end meeting 9 a.m. Dec. 27.
