BROOKFIELD — Township trustees on Monday approved Ohio Public Works Commission funding for a safety and drainage project to address flooding in the Rose Avenue neighborhood.

The state grant will be $58,379, with the township providing a matching $25,913. Trustee Ron Haun said the 41 percent local match will cover in-kind work.
