WHAT: Board of Education meeting Monday

PRESENT: Russell Sewell, Virginia Blaney, Diane Duncan, Tim Gibson and Gary Morton

The board:

• Accepted a $1,000 FIRST Robotics Team regrant from the Arconic Foundation for the LaBrae RoboVikes. Joseph Slifka was approved as advisor;

• Approved first reading on use of credit cards policy. Sewell said the district is using credit cards more and guidelines need to be in place for employee use as recommended by North East Ohio Learning Associates (NEOLA);

• Updated the job descriptions for assistant and secretary to the treasurer positions which have not been updated for some time;

• Hired Brian Coxe as boys varsity head track coach and Elisabeth Farone as girls varsity head track coach.
