Trumbull Recorder’s Office upgrades technology
WARREN — Closing agents will now be able to route documents that need to be recorded in the Trumbull County Recorder’s Office, like deeds, electronically, according to a news release from Recorder Tod Latell.
Latell’s office and Trumbull County Auditor Adrian Biviano’s office worked with eRecording Partners Network to integrate the technology, for free, in the two departments’ filing systems, according to the release.
When a closing agent submits a deed electronically, it will be routed to the auditor’s office, gain approval, and then the transfer documents will be imported to the recording office’s land management system to become a part of the official record, the release states.
The system will reduce wait times from three to five business days to hours or minutes, Latell said.
