Officials address 2.5-mill road levy
FARMINGTON — Township trustees this week met with the road levy committee on getting voter support for a 2.5-mill, continuous road levy to generate $94,000.
Trustee John Dale said the levy is needed for the township to have funds for chip and seal and repaving of roads, with many projects done by the Trumbull County Engineer’s Office.
Voters defeated a road levy last year.
The owner of a $100,000 home would pay $78.75 per year. Also, trustees set trick-or-treat 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.
