Man leads police on road, foot chase
WARREN TOWNSHIP — A man remains at large after leading Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers on a pursuit a little after midnight Saturday.
A trooper reported stopping a car for a speeding violation on North River Road NW and Mahoning Avenue in Warren Township. The driver then sped away, eventually driving off the road and into several residential yards and into a wooded area. The driver exited the car near Hawthorne and Althea avenues NW.
The trooper reported the car was totaled. The car was registered to an owner in Youngstown, who contacted the Youngstown Police Department and reported it stolen.
