Lions Club gets special use permit

LORDSTOWN — The Lordstown Lions Club has been approved for a special use permit for their new club meeting house at 2078 Lyntz Road.

Club member Bill Krempasky said the permit was needed because the house is in a residential neighborhood. Plans are to fix the house for a meeting room and put in a parking lot.

Krempasky said the children’s group, Leo’s, also will use the house.

The group holds bingo at the UAW Hall off Salt Springs Road and also meets at the Lordstown Elementary School.
