Commissioners hire transit administrator
WARREN — Trumbull County commissioners hired Michael Salamone Wednesday to serve as the administrator of the Trumbull County Transit System.
Salamone will be paid $78,500 per year and have a rent-free apartment in the county 911 center building to serve in the role. He is expected to start Nov. 4.
Salamone lives in Michigan, but commutes to Ohio to work. He is leaving the Medina County Transit System, where he made $68,000 a year.
