Woman assaulted at restaurant arrested

WARREN — A woman picking up food at Taco Bell on South Street SE around 12:45 p.m. Friday who was attacked by someone that ran from inside the restaurant, was arrested on an unrelated domestic violence warrant out of Niles, according to a police report.

Katrina C. Riley, 27, 1686 Jefferson St. SW, was in the parking lot of the restaurant preparing to get out of her vehicle when a woman ran over to the vehicle and started to assault her, according to the police report. Taco Bell employees ran out and pulled the woman off Riley’s car window.

Riley told officers she did not hit the woman and was unsure of her name, according to the report. Riley was arrested after police ran her Social Security number for the assault report. She was booked into the Trumbull County Jail Friday, according to jail records. She was released Tuesday morning on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond and is due in Niles Municipal Court Sept. 24, court records show. No charges were filed against the woman who was accused of attacking Riley.
