Voting deadline for zoning issues set

WARREN — You must be registered to vote by 4:30 p.m. July 23 to vote in the special election scheduled for Aug. 21 if those against a zoning change in Lordstown get enough verified signatures to challenge the move that would allow TJX Homegoods to build a distribution center.

Those who are 17 but will be 18 on or before Aug. 21 are eligible to register too.

You need an Ohio driver’s license number or the last four digits of your social security number to register. Registration services are available at the Trumbull County Board of Elections, open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and several other locations.
