WHAT: Township trustee special meeting Tuesday
PRESENT: Kay Anderson, Ryan Yoho and Ed Anthony
Trustees:
• Gave initial approval for placing a renewal 1.5-mill, five-year police levy on the November general election ballot for day-to-day needs of the police department. The county auditor will determine the amount the levy will raise;
• Approved having the zoning inspector send letters declaring several properties in violation of the zoning code because of high grass on vacant lots;
• Announced a public hearing about the annual budget will be held 6 p.m. July 10 at township hall.
