21 pass Warren PD examination

WARREN — The Civil Service Commission has certified that 21 of the people who took the Civil Service test have passed and may be considered for vacant police department positions.

The city now will begin the process of reviewing the candidates, including making sure they are at least 21 years old, have completed the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy, can pass the physical fitness requirements, and can pass a polygraph and psychological examination.

Each of the candidates will be interviewed by Safety Service Director Enzo Cantalamessa and other officers on the department to determine which ones would be the best fit immediately and which candidates should be considered at a later date as other officers retire. Results from the civil service tests are good for two years.
