Warren schools seeking treasurer

WARREN — The Warren City School District has officially launched its search to replace longtime Treasurer Angela Lewis, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Information about the treasurer’s position has been posted online and on a search brochure; the job description is on the district’s website, as well as places where public school treasurers and superintendents will be able to see the information.

Resumes and other materials submitted by applicants will be reviewed later this month and interviews will begin in April.

A new treasurer is expected to be in place by Aug. 1, enabling the person to be able to work alongside Lewis and Superintendent Steve Chiaro before Lewis retires in December.
