Teen accused in threat to get gun and shoot up CSB

WARREN — A 13-year-old boy is accused of threatening to get a gun and shoot up the Children Services Board office at 2282 Reeves Road NE.

Police were called to the agency at 10:40 p.m. Thursday after the teen made threats, stating he was going to “shoot the place up.” The teen earlier had been arguing with another resident when CSB employees separated the two boys, according to a police report.

“When I run from this place, I’m going to get a gun and blow this (expletive) place up,” the teen told CSB employees, the report states.

The teen was arrested and charged with inducing panic and being a habitually disobedient juvenile. He was taken to the Juvenile Justice Center, the report states.
