Ohio House passes budget bill
COLUMBUS — The Ohio House on Wednesday passed the state’s biennial capital budget bill.
The bill passed by a vote of 90-2 and now heads to the Senate for consideration. The bill provides just under $1 million for Trumbull County projects, including improvements at Kent State University at Trumbull campus, $75,000 for the Western Reserve Greenway Bike Trail, and $200,000 for Eastwood Field improvements.
Youngstown State University could see nearly $15 million in improvements if the bill passes the Senate and is signed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
