WARREN — Police who stopped to help a motorist who ran out of gas arrested a man on gun- and drug-related charges. Colton Elser, 19, 3650 W. Market St., Leavittsburg, pleaded not guilty Monday in Warren Municipal Court to charges of drug abuse and improperly handing a firearm in a motor vehicle, court records show. He is free on bond and due back in court March 22. Police stopped just before 11:30 p.m. Friday to help the motorist on South Street near Main Avenue who had the four-way flashers activated on his vehicle.
