City man on parole arrested on a home burglary charge
WARREN — A man already on parole for a previous conviction is being held at the Trumbull County Jail on a $50,000 bond following his arrest early Thursday on a charge of burglary, according to jail records.
Terrance R. Belden Jr., 33, 633 Center St. NW, is accused of kicking in the front door of a Scott Street NE home just after 1 a.m. Thursday. Three people at the home identified Belden as the one they saw standing outside it moments after the door was kicked in, according to a police report.
The residents said they heard loud banging and when they opened the door, they saw a man wearing a yellow hoodie standing in the driveway. When police arrived, the man, later identified as Belden, was wearing a yellow hoodie, the report states.
The report also states there were two distinct shoe prints on the outside of the door and the bottom of Belden’s shoes had the same pattern.
Belden is due in Warren Municipal Court for a preliminary hearing March 12, court records show.
