Tentative agreement with police

WARREN TOWNSHIP — Warren Township trustees have reached a tentative agreement with the police department union that represents five full-time police officers.

Trustee Chairwoman Kay Anderson said the police union and trustees will both review the three-year agreement before both sides give final approval.

Trustees met in mediation with their attorney and represenative of the police union on Tuesday.

Trustees had previously approved an extension of the current contract with the local police union through April 1. That contract expired Dec. 31.
