Warren man gets 18-month sentence
WARREN — A Warren man was sentenced this week to 18 months in prison after he was convicted in two separate felony cases in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
Aaron L. Davis, 32, appeared Tuesday before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Andrew D. Logan after he pleaded guilty to one count of having weapons while under disability. Logan handed down a concurrent sentence that came one day after Davis was given 18 months in prison by Judge Peter J. Kontos. Davis was in Kontos’ court facing a multi-count drug trafficking indictment.
Davis was arrested after Warren police officers raided a Lener Avenue address in October 2016. There, officers confiscated 35 grams of heroin, 10 grams of crack cocaine and a small amount of oxycodone, according to a police report. Investigators also recovered a pistol that was reported stolen, a pistol- grip shotgun, an AR pistol and an assault rifle, all forfeited by Davis as part of the plea agreement, court records show.
