Poland trustee aims for House
POLAND — Eric Ungaro, a trustee in Poland, announced he is running as a Democrat to serve in the Ohio House of Representatives’ 59th District.
The seat is held now by Ohio Rep. John Boccieri, D-Poland, who announced last year he is seeking a seat in the Ohio Senate, held now by candidate for Ohio governor, Joe Schiavoni, D-Boardman. Boccieri previously held the Senate seat in 2007 and 2008.
Ungaro is a member of the Western Reserve Joint Fire District and serves as treasurer for the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board.
