Woman charged in stabbing

YOUNGSTOWN — A pregnant woman who police say allegedly stabbed a man in the neck at a southside home Saturday night faces a charge of felonious assault.

Tribune news partner WKBN-27 reported Youngstown police were called to a home around 8 p.m. in the 500 block of Willis Avenue. Police found Jasmine Harrison, 26, sitting in a car and a bleeding man on the front porch, according to reports.

The man told police a woman stabbed him in the neck while he was sitting on the bed watching football but didn’t know why.

The man, who was not identified, was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital and was in stable condition, the report states.

Harrison was taken to Northside Hospital because she told police she was nine months pregnant and going into labor. She was booked into the Mahoning County Justice Center after her release from the hospital, jail records states.
