Shots fired in Warren before school buses arrive

WARREN — Police searched for a man who fired a gun on Scott Street NE just after 4 p.m. Friday, moments before two school buses from Willard PK-8 School dropped children off a few feet away.

It does not appear anyone was injured, said Warren police Lt. Martin Gargas.

The man took off running and police searched several different houses in the area and on Porter Street NE for him, without any luck, Gargas said. A car was left behind at the scene.

The buses dropped off the children without incident.
