BOE approves lease with Lions
LORDSTOWN — The Lordstown Board of Education has approved an agreement with the Lordstown Lions Club for use of school property off Tod Avenue. School Superintendent Terry Armstrong said Tuesday the school district recently approved the club’s use of the property via a long-term, 100-year ground lease agreement. The Lions Club is looking to build a facility at the Tod Avenue site. There is no cost to the school district for the building. Armstrong said the club also has to get approval and needed permits from the village planning commission to proceed with the project.
