WRTA gets kudos by state auditor

YOUNGSTOWN — The Western Reserve Transit Authority was recently commended by the state auditor’s office for undergoing a clean audit.

According to a press release from State Auditor David Yost, the WRTA’s recent audit had no ethical problem, findings for recovery nor questioned costs less than $10,000.

The WRTA operates a public transit system for Mahoning and Trumbull counties, with one regular route through downtown Warren.
