WARREN — Sponsors of a forum focusing on the empowerment of women are hoping more than 500 women will attend a “No Judgment” rally noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Courthouse Square.

“Now is the time for women to come together in unification to advocate for civil, human, women’s rights and other issues vital to women,” said Honeya Price, whose organization, Sisters Welcome All Generations is sponsoring the event. “Our desire is to recognize women as a strong, dominating force in northeast Ohio.”

Speakers will include Youngstown attorney Carla J. Baldwin, Councilwomen Helen Rucker and Cheryl Saffold of Warren, and Lisha Baumiller of Hubbard; Mary E. Williams, a leader in the Trumbull County Republican Party; and Price, among others.

Among the entertainers performing at the event will be India Raven, Michelle Stevenson, jazz musician Alfred Spencer, D.J. Red, Lalea Stroud and Channa Wells. This event is free.

Those planning to attend are advised to bring chairs.

There will be free food and the downtown trolley will be available for transportation. For information, call Price at 330- 937-0456.
