Warren man gets concurrent terms
WARREN — A Warren man, who last week received a nine-month sentence for his conviction in an ATV chase, was given an 18-month prison sentence Thursday after that case triggered a probation violation on a 2016 breaking and entering conviction.
Daniel Hilty, 28, 691 Woodbine Ave. SE, appeared before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Ronald J. Rice and received the new sentence that will be served at the same time as his nine-month term.
Hilty was arrested March 27, 2017, after Weathersfield police officer David Blosser was almost run over attempting to stop a man on an all-terrain vehicle on Warren Avenue just before 5:30 a.m.
