WARREN — Two local men told police they were kidnapped at gunpoint and robbed, according to a police report.
Michael Simpson, 29, and his boyfriend Justin Miller, 31, both of Warren, were attending a party late Thursday at 244 York Ave. NW when Joshua Dillows, 17, of Warren, pointed a gun at them. Simpson and Miller were forced into Miller’s truck with Joshua and four other people, including Joshua’s twin brother, Jeremiah Dillows, and taken to a school in Leavittsburg, where Miller and Simpson were robbed and forced to take off their clothes.
The two victims then ran to the Warren Township Police Department, the police report states.
Miller’s truck was later recovered, and Joshua, Jeremiah and fellow suspect Alexandria Nicolino, 23, of Warren, were arrested. Joshua confessed to also stealing Miller’s car, which was later recovered, the police report states.
Nicolino was charged with complicity in connection to the incident, and taken to Trumbull County Jail, while Joshua and Jeremiah Dillows were both charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping in connection to the incident and taken to the Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center, the police report states.
A fourth suspect, Brandon Knicely, was driving the truck and jumped out, but was not located, the report states. Police said they will consult with the prosecutor about filing formal charges on Nicolino and Knicely.
