NAMI seeks art for local show
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Mahoning Valley is seeking art from artists living with mental illness for the first Ryan Giambattista Art Show noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Center, 1344 Fifth Ave., Youngstown.
Prize winners will be framed and hung in the new Mahoning County Mental Health & Recovery Board offices. Works must be no larger than 24-by-36 inches and can be in any medium suitable for framing. Prizes will be awarded to the top five works.
Works must be submitted by 4 p.m. Monday to the NAMI offices in First Presbyterian Church at 201 Wick Ave., Youngstown. For more information, call 330-770-4975 or email email@example.com.
