Wed. 12:30 p.m.: Bernie Sanders to rally Thursday in Valley for Clinton
YOUNGSTOWN – Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is scheduled to appear at Youngstown State University Thursday to rally support for Hillary Clinton in the final days before next week’s election.
Sanders, the former Democratic presidential opponent of Clinton, is scheduled to appear at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at Youngstown State University, Stambaugh Stadium, Gym C, 5th and Armed Forces Drive, Youngstown, OH.
Sanders is expected to discuss Clinton’s plans to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top, and Donald Trump’s plans, which would benefit himself and other millionaires and billionaires like him.
Sanders will say let’s raise the minimum wage to a living wage, let’s make public colleges and universities tuition free, let’s end a broken criminal justice system, and let’s defeat Trump and make Clinton our next president.
Sanders also is scheduled to appear in Cincinnati later in the day Thursday.
The Youngstown event is open to the public, but the public is encouraged to RSVP at:
