Firefighters from Warren Township, Champion, Braceville and Southington battled a fire Thursday afternoon at a vacant house at 4464 Kincaid East Road in Warren Township. The fire, which was reported shortly after 2:30 p.m., is considered suspicious, according to the state fire marshal’s office, but a cause has not yet been determined. The owner is listed as Leo Elser of Youngstown, according to Trumbull County auditor records. The house is where Milton A. Grumbling III, 71, was found stabbed to death in April 2013. The suspect, Patrick L. Heltzel, 23, was found not guilty by reason of insanity in June and is being housed at the Heartland Behavioral Healthcare Center in Massillon.
