Police activity reported in Warren Township Sept. 22 to Oct. 6:

Oct. 6, 4:58 a.m. – Aggravated assault and robbery werte reported near the intersection of West Market Street and South Leavitt Road after a woman and teen walking near the road reported two men tried to force them into an SUV. One man was reported to have a gun. One of the females reported being hit by a bullet and the other ran from the scene.

5:38 a.m. – A stolen truck was reported at 5891 Eagle Creek Road after the driver left keys inside the vehicle.

Oct. 5, 9:22 p.m. – A man was reported to be banging his head off a brick wall near Someplace Safe off Tod Avenue.

7:58 p.m. – Theft was reported at 595 Briggs Road after digital cameras was stolen from the home.

4:30 p.m. – Menacing was reported at 3457 Templeton Road after a woman made threats but left when people told her they would call police.

Oct. 3, 9:19 p.m. – A man and woman were reported to have stolen food items at Dollar General, 1857 Tod Ave. SW. Reports indicate the two took Kool Aid packets and Halloween items.

Oct. 2, 12:40 p.m. – Domestic violence was reported at 13 Blueberry Lane after a woman was hitting herself and then saying it was a man who hit her. The two were drinking, police said.

Oct. 1, 7:32 p.m. – Endangering and possible child abuse were reported at 3457 Templeton Road after a child reported someone cut her back with a butter knife. Police found red marks on the child’s back, the report states.

Sept. 30, 10:34 p.m. – A heroin overdose was reported at 592 N. Leavitt Road.

10:11 p.m. -Billy Lee Allen, 33, of Warren, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no rear license plate and also was arrested on an active warrant.

8:54 p.m. – A stolen vehicle was found at Bellcrest Avenue at Eighth Street. The vehicle was reported stolen in Niles.

8:34 p.m. – A domestic dispute was reported at 1738 Tod Ave. SW after a woman reported her boyfriend had choked her.

6:14 p.m. – A domestic dispute was reported at North River Road and North Park Avenue after two people were arguing and the woman reported the man hit her.

3:22 p.m. – Identity fraud was reported at 2135 S. Leavitt Road after a resident discovered money was taken from a checking account and received a call about the matter.

Oct. 27, 6:52 p.m. – Gross sexual imposition was reported at 2435 Palmyra Road after female juvenile reported an older male juvenile touched her.

6:06 a.m. – Criminal mischief was reported at 453 N. Leavitt Road after someone drove a vehicle over a lawn and made ruts and knocked over trash cans. A security camera recorded the incident but police were unable to read the license plate of vehicle.

Oct. 26, 5:30 p.m. – A domestic dispute was reported at 3225 Palmyra Road after an unruly juvenile was involved in an altercation and became angry and hit washing machine.

2:49 a.m. – Breaking and entering was reported at 816 Knox Ave. NW after someone broke into a garage and shed. The locks were broken and removed from shed.

2:25 a.m. – Breaking and entering was reported at 800 Knox Ave. NW after someone broke into a barn.

1:56 a.m. – Breaking and entering was reported at 801 Greenlawn Ave. after a shed was broken into. Bolt cutters were used to cut the lock to shed.

Sept. 25, 9:51 a.m. – Theft was reported at 598 N. Leavitt Road after a black 2001 Dodge broke down near Caesar’s Restaurant on West Market Street. The owner left it there for three days but when he returned it was missing.

Sept. 24, 4:35 a.m. – Discharging a weapon was reported at 963 Bane St. after residents heard five to seven gunshots and found bullet holes in glass picture window and in siding of house.

Sept. 23, 11:15 p.m. – Theft was reported at 255 Miller St. after a lawnmower taken from a shed and two amplifiers were missing.

2:57 p.m. – Burglary of trailer was reported at 180 N. River Road after the front door was found cracked open and $300 in cash was missing from a can in kitchen. Several cabinets were found open.

8:27 a.m. – Theft was reported at 818 Ferncliff Rod after someone broke into a car and stole $20 in cash. Vehicle had been left unlocked.

7:55 a.m. – Petty theft was reported at 823 Ferncliff Ave. after items including $120 diamond studded earrings, and tools from garage totaling $600 were reported missing.

Set. 22, 5:05 p.m. – A juvenile runaway was reported on Peach Lane after woman reported two male grandchildren ran away. Children Services had been contacted about one of the children.

11 a.m. – A man was bit by a dog while riding his bike on the bike trail off North River Road. A man and woman were walking three dogs on the trail when one dog ran over to the bike rider and bit his leg.

7:50 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 6000 block of Burnett East Road.

7:25 p.m. – Officers assisted the fire department in the 8100 block of Kinsman-Nickerson Road.

Sept. 29, 2:48 p.m. – A car-deer accident was reported at state Route 5 and Ward North Road.

Sept. 28, 11:08 p.m. -Suspicious activity was reported in the 9400 block of Kinsman Pymatuning Road.

2:05 p.m, – Theft was reported in the 8200 block of State Street.

Sept. 27, 3:04 p.m. – Report of a driver leaving the scene of an accident at state Route 5 and Delin Thomas Road.

3:02 p.m. – Receiving stolen property was reported in the 8500 block of Main Street.

Sept. 26, 10:51 a..m. – Suspicious activity was reported on state Route 7 and Webber Cole Road.

9 a.m.- Theft was reported in the 6800 block of County Line Road.

Sept. 27, 10:17 p.m. – Benjamin Warner, 37, of Warren, was given a citation on a charge of driving under a noncompliance suspension. Nicole Baugh, 32, of Warren, was given a citation on a charge of wrongful entrustment of a motor vehicle.

3:28 p.m. – A traffic crash was reported on West Main Street.

Sept. 25, 7:03 p.m. – Jason Kale, 42, of Cortland, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, an OVI test refusal and citations of driving in marked lanes and not using turn signals.

5:42 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported on state Route 5.

8 a.m. – Brad Benke, 49, of Cortland, was given citations on charges of possessing an open container of liquor and not having physical control of a vehicle.

2 a.m. – Suspicious activity was reported on Evon Circle.

1:47 a.m. – A noise complaint was reported on Spring Creek Drive.

Sept. 23, 11:28 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported on Portal Drive.

3:56 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported in the 600 block of South Mecca Street.

2:45 p.m. – A juvenile was arrested on drug abuse charges, reckless operation of vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia in response to numerous traffic enforcement complaints in the area of Stonewood Drive.

10:01 a.m. – Officers assisted the Cortland Fire Department in the 100 block of Golf Drive.

9 a.m. – Lost property was reported found in Willow Park.

8:30 p.m. – A leaking fire hydrant was reported on Evon Circle. The Cortland Fire Department was contacted.

8:15 p.m. – A disabled vehicle was reported at state routes 305 and 46.

3:30 p.m. – A juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unruliness.

2:32 p.m. – A 17-year-old was arrested on charges of driving under suspension and given a citation for failing to stop for a stop sign.

10:05 a.m. – An animal complaint was reported in the 200 block of Greenbriar Drive.

Sept. 15, 5:15 p.m. – A custody dispute was reported in the 100 block of Gates Street.

Sept. 10, 10:52 a.m. – Private property accident was reported in the 400 block of South High Street.

7:58 a.m. – Brandon Michael Protiva, 32, of Cortland, was issued citations for charges of failing to stop prior to line, failing to reinstate driver’s license and giving false information. Terrance Finney, 29, of Cortland, was arrested on two warrants issued by Warren Municipal Court.

Sept. 9, 11:17 p.m. – Possible burglary was reported in the 100 block of West Main Street.

3:45 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 400 block of South High Street.

10:30 a.m. – A suspicious person in a vehicle was reported in the 500 block of South High Street.
