Bill Clinton expected to stop in the Valley
WARREN – Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to return to the Buckeye state today and Wednesday, stumping for his wife in a bus tour expected to make a local stop.
Bill Clinton is scheduled to participate in Democratic campaign events at 11 a.m. today at Ohio University in Athens and then in Steubenville at 5:15 p.m., according to information released by the Hillary Clinton’s Democratic presidential campaign.
Wednesday, the bus tour, being touted as the “Stronger Together” tour, will make a scheduled stop at 4:15 p.m. at the Canton Ironworkers Local 550 Training Center.
The campaign indicated a stop in the Mahoning Valley is planned, but no details were yet released.
The tour is intended to remind Ohio voters the voter registration deadline is a week from today, and early voting begins one day later, Oct. 12, in Ohio.
