Ferndale Drive home hit by bullet
WARREN — A resident in the 1800 block of Ferndale Drive SW reported her house was shot up late Thursday.
The resident, Linda Dorsey, told police she heard six shots coming from the street and heard a bullet strike the north side of her home, according to a police report. Police found a bullet hole in the home’s siding.
A neighbor told police the shots came from the area of 1744 Ferndale Drive, where police found five spent shell casings in the street and on the sidewalk in front of that address, the report states. The neighbor also told police a small white car with a loud muffler and three black men inside sped away after he heard the gunshots.
Dorsey told police that car is always in the area, the report states.
