AUSTINTOWN – Parade, 10:30 a.m., from Marc’s parking lot, corner of Mahoning Avenue and Idaho Road, to the Fitch High School Veterans Memorial. Commemorative service, 11 a.m.

BRACEVILLE – Service, 10:30 a.m., Braceville United Methodist Church; parade, 11 a.m., from Braceville Center to Braceville Cemetery, where there will be a tribute. Lunch will follow at the township garage.

BRISTOL – Ceremonies, 9:30 a.m., Sager Cemetery, parade to Pioneer Cemetery at 10 a.m., and then to Evergreen Cemetery at 10:15 a.m. Services conclude at 10:40 a.m. at Bristol Town Park where Civil War veterans will be remembered with a Civil War 150 commemoration.

BROOKFIELD – Parade, 10 a.m., from former Brookfield Middle School on Grover Street, along state Route 7 to the cemetery, for a service at the Veterans Memorial. Community luncheon follows at fire hall.

CHAMPION – Parade, 9 a.m., from the high school along state Route 45 to the township cemetery for a service.

FOWLER – Church service, 10 a.m., gazebo, weather permitting. A military service with the VFW of Vienna at 11 a.m. at the center green.

GIRARD – Service, 11 a.m., Girard City Cemetery. Short bios of deceased soldiers will be read by class presidents from Girard High School. Placing of the wreath and rifle salute by Girard Veterans Honor Guard.

HOWLAND – Service, 10 a.m., cemetery, with a program by American Legion Post 700.

HUBBARD – Procession, 10 a.m., from Princeton Avenue to the Hubbard Union Cemetery, then to the War Memorial at the fire station. In case of bad weather, the service will be at Hubbard Municipal Building.

LEAVITTSBURG – Parade, 10 a.m., from American Legion Hall to the memorial in the parking lot of the old LaBrae High School for a service.

LORDSTOWN – Ceremony, 10 a.m., Lordstown Cemetery.

MESOPOTAMIA – Mesopotamia Memorial and Historical Association will serve a ham dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the hall on Mespo Park. Bloomfield School band concert, 1 p.m., followed by a parade to the cemetery, where children will place flags on veterans’ graves. Service by the Rev. Claudia Britton.

NILES – Service, 11 a.m., veterans section of Niles City Cemetery.

SOUTHINGTON – Flag raising, 10:45 a.m., Chalker Building on state Route 305; parade, 11 a.m., from Chalker to the Pinecrest Cemetery on state Route 305, for a ceremony and salute. American Legion Post 751, 3145 Warren Burton Road, will host a luncheon after the ceremony.

VIENNA – Observance, 12:30 p.m., Mathews High School Memorial gym, followed by procession to the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on the Township Green, led by VFW Post 3521, AMVETS Post 290, Mathews High School Band and other groups and citizens. At the monument, the VFW will conduct a memorial service, rifle salute and Taps.

WARREN – Casting of the wreath, 9:30 a.m. behind Warren Community Amphitheatre; ceremony, 10 a.m. at the amphitheater; parade, 11:15 a.m. from Mahoning Avenue through downtown Warren on East Market Street to Niles Road to Oakwood Cemetery. If inclement weather, ceremony moves to First Presbyterian Church.

WARREN – Open house, Clarence Hyde American Legion Post 278 at the SCOPE Senior Center, 220 W. Market St., following the parade in Warren until 2 p.m. Bean soup, cornbread and sandwiches will be served. Walls of Honor for Korea, Vietnam and Iraq / Afghanistan available for viewing.

WARREN – Open house, noon to 4 p.m., VFW Post 1090, 611 High St.

WEATHERSFIELD – Ceremony, 2 p.m., Kerr Cemetery, by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4192.

WEST FARMINGTON – Service, 10 a.m., Farmington United Methodist Church, by West Farmington VFW Post 7200, followed by parade to the cemetery on state Route 88.
