Fire crews called to house in Warren

WARREN – Damages to a Warren home are estimated around $50,000 after an early morning fire engulfed the building.

Emergency crews responded at 2:30 a.m. Saturday to reports of a house fire at 1091 Elm Road.

Warren firefighters arrived to find the home “well involved,” according to reports. Additional firefighters were called to extinguish the blaze, according to Warren firefighter Jared Thomas.

The home was known to be occupied but nobody was home at the time of the fire, according to reports.

The scene was cleared around 7:07 a.m., Thomas said.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and remains under investigation.
