Bridging the gap

Tribune Chronicle / Bob Coupland

Siblings Gia Ashforth, 6, and her brother, Jonathan Ashforth, 3, watch as a small car is tested on the bridge they made during the Children’s Inventors Lab on Tuesday at the Newton Falls Public Library. Children used duct tape, paper clips, rubber bands, Popsicle sticks, toothpicks and clothespins to make bridges between two tables.
