Man arrested after stabbing with bottle
WARREN – A 33-year-old Larchmont Avenue N.E. man was in Trumbull County Jail on Saturday, facing possible felonious assault charges after a 30-year-old Deerfield Avenue S.W. man was stabbed in the chest twice with a broken bottle.
Warren police reports do not specify whether the attack occurred inside or outside of the Rock Bottom Cafe, formerly Alex’s Cafe, 1680 N. Park Ave., shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday.
Police did say the victim, Jerry Jones, 1706 Deerfield, was stabbed or cut during an argument with a man he knows. Jones was being treated at Trumbull Memorial Hospital on Saturday night.
Officers arrested Steven A. O’Hara, 1691 Larchmont, shortly after learning of the attack.
O’Hara was arrested at 1916 Clermont Ave. N.E., which reports say is the address of Kristina A. Bridgens, 27, who was charged with obstructing justice for trying to hide O’Hara or hinder his apprehension at her home.
O’Hara is expected to appear in Municipal Court on Monday.
