Fighting famine

The Rev. Ed Noga of St. Patrick Parish in Youngstown offers prayers and words on Friday during a three-day vigil organized by People Fighting Famine. The vigil is designed to draw attention to fighting global hunger and includes prayers, guest speakers and panel discussions. It continues through 5 p.m. today at First Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown. Street vigils with prayers will take place at 8 a.m. and noon today at Wick Park across from the church.
