Mon. 11:39 a.m.: One person killed in I-80 crash
HUBBARD TOWNSHIP — One person was killed this morning when a car and tractor-trailer rig collided on Interstate 80 near the weigh station and the Hubbard exits.
The road temporarily was closed and traffic in the westbound lane was backed onto the Belmont exit, according to a Trumbull County 911 report.
The accident was reported at 8:30 this morning. The identities of the victims, including the driver of the car, who was killed, have not be released yet.
About 45 minutes earlier, Interstate 80 westbound just east of state Route 193 in Liberty was when a vehicle rolled over onto its roof. That was cleared about 11 a.m., according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
