AUSTINTOWN — Police are investigating the 2:25 p.m. Wednesday robbery of the Huntington Bank, 6010 Mahoning Ave., in which a 5-foot-9 man in dark clothing and a hat robbed a teller of an undisclosed amount of cash.

The black male waited in line, and when it was his turn, he slipped the teller a note indicating that it was a hold-up and that he had a gun, police Capt. Bryan Kloss said.

After the teller handed over the money, the robber ran from the bank, Kloss said. The robber was not scene getting into a vehicle.

The police department has a surveillance image of the robber, who did not wear a mask, he said. However, he remains at large.
