Fri. 1:15 p.m.: Money, cigarettes reported taken from Warren fuel station
WARREN – Police are investigating the theft of a thousands of dollars and cigarettes from the Sunoco service station on West Market Street.
The store’s manager told police he was called at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday to the store by a delivery driver because the doors were locked and store was empty. When the manager went inside, he found cigarettes missing and $5,500 to $6,500 gone from the safe, a police report states.
The manager also found the control board for the security cameras had water beneath it and the cameras not working, the report states. A woman was working at the store when the manager left, the report states.
