Mon. 11:30 a.m.: Felder, Kool & the Gang announce area shows

New shows were announced this morning for Packard Music Hall and Stambaugh Auditorium.

Don Felder, who played guitar with The Eagles from 1974 until 1980, will play Packard on Nov. 7. Felder has performed with and / or recorded with such artists as the Bee Gees, Bob Seger, Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Warren Zevon, Stevie Nicks, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and Barbra Streisand.

Tickets are $71, $51, $41 and $31 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Packard box office and through Ticketmaster. An online only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: PACKARD

Kool & the Gang, led by Youngstown natives Ronald and Robert “Kool” Bell, will play Stambaugh at 8 p.m. Aug. 10. The group has had nine top 10 pop hits and 25 top 10 R&B hits in its career, including “Celebration,” “Jungle Boogie” and “Cherish.”

Tickets are $90, $75, $55 and $40 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Stambaugh.
