Tues. 12:45 p.m.: Man pleads in motorcycle gang shooting case

WARREN – Charles C. Dellapenna III pleaded guilty this morning to two counts each of complicity to involuntary manslaughter and complicity to felonious assault, plus a single count of carrying a concealed weapon, all connected to the June 2016 motorcycle gang shooting in Warren Township.

Dellapenna, 48, a member of the Forever Two Wheelz motorcycle gang, is accused in connection to the June 2016 shooting deaths of Jason “Foot” Moore, 41, and Robert A. “Chopper Bob” Marto, 54, both of Mecca, and the wounding of Walter Hughes, 41, of Warren, and Andrew Claypool, 50, of Girard.

The four victims were members of Brothers Regime, a rival motorcycle gang.

With this agreement, Dellapenna could reduce possible life prison sentences for the aggravated murders of Moore and Marto and felonious assaults for Hughes and Claypool to a combined sentence of 15 years.

He is expected to testify during the upcoming aggravated murder trial of David Bailes Jr., scheduled to begin Monday before Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Andrew Logan.
