Tues. 1:35 p.m.: Warren man held on $1 million bond
WARREN – A city man indicted last week on a 27-count indictment alleging rapes of two women here, was arraigned today in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
Keion Stella, 35, of Dunstan Drive NW, appeared in orange coveralls before Judge Andrew D. Logan, who set bond at $1 million. Stella faces three counts of aggravated burglary, six counts of kidnapping with specification for sexual motivation, 12 counts of rape and six counts of felonious assault.
All the counts carry firearm specifications which each carry three-year mandatory prison sentences.
Assistant prosecutor Diane Barber said the defendant faces a possible maximum of 300 years in prison.
Stella is being held in Mahoning County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond on separate charges linked to an alleged rape of a Youngstown woman, which Barber said allegedly occurred 12 hours prior to the Warren incident.
