Tue. 9:01 p.m.: Lastic, Profato, McNaughton winning Niles at-large race

NILES – The city’s former safety service director is trailing in a four-person race for three at-large seats on city council here.

Incumbent Michaesl A. Lastic is leading with 29 percent of the vote, and coming in third, another incumbent, Ryan McNaughton, with 22.8 percent, early results from the Trumbull County Board of Elections show.

Barry L. Profato, is second with 28.1 percent of the vote. Ex-safety service director James V. DePasquale has 19.9 percent.

The at-large race is the only contested race in Niles.
