Thur. 3:14 p.m.: Hamad given life with chance of parole after 30 years
WARREN – Convicted murdered Nasser Hamad was sentenced today to life in prison with the chance of parole after 30 years for killing two people and wounding three others in a shooting Feb. 25 outside his home in Howland.
Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Ronald J. Rice followed the jury’s recommendation Wednesday in sentencing Hamad, 48.
Rice also gave Hamad six years for gun specifications attached to each of the aggravated murder charges against Hamad that must be served first and consecutive to the life sentence.
