Sun. 8:40 p.m.: Flood warning issued for Eagle Creek

BRACEVILLE – The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a flood warning for the Eagle Creek at Phalanx Station with forecasts for minor flooding.

This evening, reports indicated the water stage was at 9.3 feet, nearing flood stage of 9.5 feet.

The water is expected to rise above flood stage this evening, reaching near 9.6 feet. However, the river is expected to fall below flood stage late overnight tonight into Monday.

Barclay Messerly Road south of the Warren Airport in Braceville was to be flooded. Knowlton Road will also threatened, the weather service is predicting.
