WARREN A Warren man on Wednesday received a four-year prison sentence after being convicted of felony charges linked to the February break-in and theft of valuable coins from a Girard home.
Frank D. Penezich, 29, of 154 Maryland St. NW, appeared before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge W. Wyatt McKay, who told the defendant he was not eligible for probation because of two previous felony convictions.
Penezich was arrested Feb. 22 after he and a woman were found at a Niles plaza business trying to sell coins. The items fit the description of coins, worth between $8,000 and $10,000 stolen the day before from a home in the 300 block of Mosier Road in Girard, the report states.
