Tues. 7:40 pm: Polling places change for November election
WARREN – There will be fewer places for voters in Trumbull County to cast a ballot in November.
The Trumbull County Board of Elections on Tuesday agreed to eliminate 18 polling locations – the physical place where people vote – in an effort to best utilize the board’s new electronic poll books. The move takes the number of polling locations in the county to 70.
The plan is to limit the number of precincts with one e-poll book and instead load multiple precincts into one book and then have pollworkers direct voters to the correct voting station, said elections board Director Stephanie Penrose. Doing so lessens the need for polling locations.
See Wednesday’s Tribune Chronicle for a list of the polling location changes.
