Police: Mass shooting stemmed from family dispute
HOWLAND – Investigators have identified three of the victims – including one who died – involved in a mass shooting Saturday outside a township residence along state Route 46.
Surviving are April Trent, 43, and Bryce Hendrickson, 20, who each underwent surgery Saturday night; and a 17-year-old grazed by gunfire who has not yet been named.
Josh Williams, 20, died at a local hospital. Investigators said they are trying to identify a 19-year-old man who died at the scene. They said they will release his name once his family has been properly notified.
Investigators said the shooting resulted from a family dispute between Nasser Hamad, 47, who has been charged with aggravated murder, and Hendrickson over Hamad dating Hendrickson’s mother, Tracey Hendrickson. Hamad is being held at the Trumbull County Jail.
